| M1 imaged on two separate occasions with 15cm
and 80mm aperture scopes operating at similar f/ratios. The image
made with the larger scope shows considerable detail in the nebula and
brighter stars, but amazingly the image made with an 80mm aperture scope
shows the majority of the stars seen with the larger scope and similar,
or at least suggestive structure in the nebula. |
